  Great fresh Mexican food with some clever and unique recipes. Sweet pork , raspberry chicken and steak of course. The food is yummy cause us Gringos love sweet food! Ran out of Flan again, probably because it's really good!

  Best smothered shredded pork burritos in Gilbert!
  
  This place has excellent and great tasting smothered burritos. Each time I come here (which is 3 to 4 times a year) I always order the same thing,  smothered shredded pork burrito.
  
  Food: Always fresh and always flavorful! They make fresh flour tortillas right there in front of you. Never old or stale food. They are always busy which is great because they quickly rotate their food with new fresh food.
  
  Menu: They have a great size menu and I love the fact that they have lots of pictures of their menu. I hate reading a menu but not being able to see pictures of what the food looks like.
  
  Service: never any problems with the staff. They hire young people that are fast at making your food to help keep the wait time down.
  
  Great place if you want really big portions to feed large groups or a family! I'm 6'1 and 205 pounds. One burrito over-fills me up.

  Can not believe the service!
  We called ahead and ordered take out. When we arrived to pick up the food, we were told no one had taken the order. Mind you, they was maybe 10 people in the restaurant, maybe. They hurried up and made us our food and we left. When we got home (2 mile drive), the food was cold. We called to let them know. Never ask for a refund, didn't care, just wanted to let them know their food was cold. A woman (young hispanic, didn't catch her name) claiming to be a manager, laughed and said she didn't know why the food was cold and to enjoy our night. I called a different location (Gilbert) and spoke to another female manager, who was awesome! Her name was Zee. She told me she would pass my number to the Disctrict Manager and he would call me in the morning. Never received a call. It's 2019, options are endless. Food is good, but I'm not spending money in a place where I get treated like that. Cafe Rio is right down the street. I'll take my $60 dinner order somewhere else.

  My wife and I ate at a Costa Vida in Idaho in December and loved it.  Last. Night we ate here in Mesa for the first time.  Had a Great meal!
  
  We will definitely be back.  Great salads!

  I ordered sweet pork quesadilla and sweet pork nachos.
  Sweet pork quesadilla has nearly no cheese in it, it was dry as can be.
  The sweet pork nachos had half of the proportion that it should be, the queso on the side in a 4 oz cup had barely half of the cup which is not even 2 oz.
  overall , the quality and quantity was not meeting my satisfactions.
  This location has disappointed me badly!
